Jewelry Care/Size Guide
1. Keep It Dry & Chemical-Free
- Exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and sweat can accelerate tarnishing and wear, especially for plated jewelry.
- Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising to preserve its shine.
2. Proper Storage Matters
- Store your pieces in a dry, cool place, preferably in an airtight pouch or a soft-lined jewelry box to prevent oxidation.
- Keep each piece separate to avoid scratches and tangling.
3. Gentle Cleaning for Lasting Shine
- Wipe your jewelry with a soft microfiber or jewelry polishing cloth after each wear to remove oils and residues.
- For occasional deep cleaning, use a mild soap solution, rinse with lukewarm water, and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can damage both silver and plated surfaces.
4. Special Care for Plated Jewelry
- Gold and rhodium plating can wear off over time. To extend its life:
- Avoid excessive rubbing or friction.
- Remove jewelry before applying beauty products.
- Store in a separate pouch to prevent scratches.
- Should your plating naturally fade, we offer re-plating services to restore its original luster.
5. Everyday Wear & Natural Tarnishing
- Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, developing a patina. Regular wear actually helps slow down tarnishing by keeping it polished.
- If tarnish appears, a gentle silver polish or professional cleaning will restore its brilliance.
